Our mission is to provide help and hope to our neighbors in need in Forsyth County.

Fellowship and service are important elements of our ministry

A very important part of our service to our community is our furniture ministry.  While managed by SVdP, this ministry is made possible by volunteers from the Good Shepherd Men's Club and Knights of Columbus. These generous men meet at church Monday morning to pick up and deliver the much needed furniture donations in our area.  We are always in need of household items in good condition:  Kitchen tables with chairs, dressers, beds (no kings or cribs), end tables, lamps, washers and dryers.  If you would like to donate furniture or volunteer for the furniture ministry, please call our helpline at 678-947-0677 between 9am and 3pm Mon-Fri to leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible. Thanks so much for your support of SVdP!

Saint Vincent de Paul of Good Shepherd focuses on our home visits to our Neighbors in Need, but we also have several projects throughout the year. We coordinate the Advent Giving Tree at Good Shepherd and provide the families that are helped each year by our church.  We also go caroling at the Women's prison at Christmas time and provide gift bags for them. We strive to create a community of faith and love, of prayer and action. Please consider joining our mission and thank you for your continued support!!  We are completely funded by the generous parishioners of Good Shepherd Catholic Church!
