The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul at Good Shepherd

Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization that comes together to grow spiritually by offering person to person service to those who are needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam and patron St. Vincent de Paul.  Here at Good Shepherd our local SVdP Conference meets twice a month for fellowship, case discussion and prayer.

The assistance we provide to our Neighbors in Need in Forsyth County is completely funded by the generous parishioners of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.  We thank you for your generosity!!  We operate a helpline that is manned Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our neighbors in need call in seeking financial aid for rent or mortgages, food, help with cars and utilities.  The core of our ministry for our volunteer Vincentians is a home visit done in pairs to gain a better understanding of their needs, to provide hope, dignity, a plan, resources and prayer.  For assistance our SVdP helpline number is 678-947-0677.

Please also consider joining us as a Vincentian here at Good Shepherd.  For more information email Kathy Johnson at SVdPofgoodshepherd@gmail.com or call 678-947-0677.
